The Highlead GK501-4Z is a high speed seam cover (cover-seam) industrial sewing machine.
The machine can be used for full top & bottom cover or you can choose to do bottom only cover. The option of using 2 or 3 needles is also available for different sewn finishes.
It has many outstanding features such as easy adjustment of bottom differential feeding, easy stitch regulation, simplified threading, built-in needle light and smooth speed controllable electronic direct drive servo motor.
The electronic Direct Drive servo motor offers improvements including: quick start and stop, accurate positioning, low noise, reduced vibration, smooth acceleration and a feeling of greater responsiveness for the operator, when compared with older/conventional V-belt driven models.
The general purpose GK501-4Z model is suitable for sewing operations such as hemming, covering or decorative stitching on light to medium weight fabrics.
The fully sealed bottom sump is equipped with automatic oil lubrication and filter system; which enables the machine to run smoothly with low noise and vibration.
Optional attachments are available which increase the machines versatility and uses include: cover lap seaming, covering seaming and decorative seaming for underwear, sportswear, T-shirts, knitted fashion etc.

Highlead Model GK501-4Z-BC2 = Binding/Collarette operations.
Highlead Model GK500-4D = automatic model which features auto under bed thread trimmer, auto top cover thread trimmer and full sized electronic needle position motor with added electric auto foot lifter.
