Twin needle lockstitch sewing machine with needle feed

& Automatic thread trimmer

The Highlead GC20518-BD is a twin needle, needle feed industrial sewing machine which produces two lines of parallel lock stitching and features large hooks and automatic thread trimmer.

It is fitted with 2x large vertical axis hook & bases which are auto lubricated and offer increased capacity for heavy duty sewing threads.

The GC20518-BD model is equipped with a automatic thread trimmer which is mounted under the needle plate for quick & accurate cutting of thread at the end of a sewing cycle.  This saves considerable time when compared with manual cutting of threads using scissors etc.  The thread trimmer is electronically controlled and uses electric impulse solenoids to activate the cutting knives.

The sewing machine has a synchronized feeding system, with the needle bar and bottom feed mechanisms moving in time: to combine into a more stable motion which helps prevent uneven material feeding & ply shifting etc.  It results in a better and more precise stitched seam with heavier material handling capabilities.

The position of the needle is controlled by an electronic needle position motor & controller.  This will automatically put the needle in an UP or DOWN position (selectable) at the end of a sewing cycle: reducing the need to use the manual hand wheel. 

The Highlead GC20518-BD is a feature packed twin needle sewing machine and as well as needle feed and automatic thread trimming; it comes as standard with programmable auto back-tack, auto reverse, knuckle quick reverse and built in stitch program module.

It is fitted with the latest quiet & energy efficient electronically controlled heavy duty motor, which only runs when you are actually sewing; If you pause or stop: the motor stops immediately and is silent.
